Bermuda Cricketers Weekend Top Performers
Following the Cup Match Classic as well as Bermudian cricketers playing abroad in action over the weekend, today we take a look at the top performers.
In the batting department, Christopher Douglas playing for Somerset Cricket Club was the top scorer with 128, in the Cup Match Classic, Dennico Hollis from Stenhousemuir had the second-highest knock of the weekend scoring 83 not out, and Marcus Scotland from ACE Academy XI scored 62.
With figures of 18.5-6-59-5, resulted in George O’Brien Jr. from the St. George’s Cricket Club being the top bowler, Malachi Jones from the Somerset Cricket Club finished with the second-best figures of 13-3-24-3, which came in the St. George’s Cricket Club Second inning, and Jones returned figures of 9.0-1-37-3 in the first inning to finish 3rd.
