Take Five Ltd & Argus Donate 500 Meals
Take Five Ltd [TFL] recently collaborated with Argus Group to donate 500 meals to the island’s Seventh Day Adventist Churches.
A spokesperson said, “Take Five Ltd, in collaboration with the Argus Group, donated 500 meals to the island’s Seventh Day Adventist Churches. TFL continues with its pledge to donate 2,000 meals in 2021. Thus far, the company, in collaboration with its various partners, has donated 1,500 meals to families and individuals across the island. For this quarter, the sole contributor was local insurance company the Argus Group.”
Peter Lozier, Chief Executive, Americas [Bermuda and Canada], said, “When Take Five approached us, we seized the opportunity to collaborate in support of their important pledge. We are proud that our donation will help bring them one step closer to their goal of nourishing our community in times of need.”
The spokesperson said, “With only one quarter to go, TFL is hopeful that they will receive one final sponsor to complete their pledge.”
Jason Berwick, the Co-CEO of Take Five Ltd, said, “We believe that this is a great initiative and we are grateful to the sponsor, staff and church volunteers that have made this possible. We are hoping to finish the year and donate the final 500 meals.”
The spokesperson said, “In addition to the 2021 meal pledge, Take Five Ltd periodically supports the Eliza DoLittle Society, Meals on Wheels, and Daily Bread, and provides weekly meals to the Church Without Walls.
