Court: Two Plead Not Guilty In Raft Up Matter
Appearing in Magistrates Court, Selange Gitschner and Matthew Strong pleaded not guilty to charges relating to the raft up last summer, which featured overseas social media influencers.
They denied charges alleging that they failed to take reasonable steps to follow public health guidelines related to physical distancing and wearing a mask.
ZBM reported that the pair also denied aiding Orville Burrell — better known by his stage name ‘Shaggy’ — to not quarantine until he received his results from his Covid-19 arrival test.
Magistrate Craig Attridge granted them bail in the amount of $2500.
