Photos, Video & 360: Canada Day Beach Party
In celebration of Canada Day, a Beach Party event was held this weekend at Warwick Long Bay.
One of the organisers, Jenn Campbell previously said, “We haven’t had a beach party since 2019 for obvious reasons. Sarah Murphy-Christopher and I have been getting back in the swing of organising this event, as we have done for several years now. The first Canada Day party was in 1995, so not including the last two years, this will be our 25th.” You can view 360° panoramas, a video, and photos from this year below, and all Bernews coverage of Canada Day over the years here.

Thank you, Bernews! Was a beautiful beach day attended by many people who were “being excellent to each other”. Thank you, Keanu Reeves, a.k.a., Ted. Sarah and I were so happy to see so many people (Not just Canadians!) enjoying the day. Thanks to Parks, Works and Engineering. The Liquor Licensing Board, KBB, DJ D’Nice, Security Associates, Gosling’s, Pitt and Co (BGA), Bda Spirits, Bermuda Rentals, Barritt’s, The Captain at Ocean 89, Freisenbruch-Meyer, BMDS, Reed and his amazing team at Docksider (who had a bbq lunch available for us) and all of our wonderful volunteers without whom we could not have done it. Kudos as well to Beach Daze – the regular concession folk at Warwick Long Bay who provide umbrellas and chairs for rental – but also rocked up with Nanaimo bars and butter tarts! Huge thanks to all of you – Jenn and Sarah
