Photos & Video: Youth Engagement Event
Recently, Minister of Economy and Labour Jason Hayward joined Bermuda Youth Connect to host an in-person youth engagement event discussing Bermuda’s Youth Employment Strategy.
A Government spokesperson said, “The event, held at the Berkeley Institute School Library, saw 20 Bermudians from 18 to 26 years of age come together to ask questions, gather information, and discuss how the Government will support them in developing their ability to guide and lead our country’s path into the future.”
“As we continue working toward implementing Bermuda’s Youth Employment Strategy, we will continue meeting with our youth to ensure the communications pathways between the Government and Bermuda’s young people are open, transparent and accessible”, said Minister Hayward.
“This event was rewarding for me, as I was able to hold frank, open discussions with our youth, who are the future of our country. It also reinforced my belief that we have an excellent pool of local talent who will become Bermuda’s future leaders.”
Minister Hayward MUST step up swiftly for young people of Bermuda…BORN BERMUDIANS!!!
These youth are our future. Get a move on government, and make us all proud to be BORN BERMUDIAN!!!!
