Situation Has “Concluded Without Incident”
[Updated] The Bermuda Police Service confirmed they are “currently addressing an ongoing mental health emergency at a Pembroke Parish location.”
A police spokesperson said, “Police negotiators are at the scene with the person in question, as efforts continue to safely resolve the situation. We realise that some members of the public have become aware of what is happening.
“We are appealing to you, please do not do anything to exacerbate the situation. Please refrain from recording images and circulating on social media or sharing with others. This is an extremely sensitive matter and we thank you for your cooperation and understanding.”
Update 4.13pm: A police spokesperson said, “The mental health emergency at a Pembroke Parish location has concluded without incident. The individual involved is unharmed and is being medically assessed.”
