Coral Beach To Host USTA Tennis Event
Coral Beach & Tennis Club will host the Bermuda Breeze USTA Championship from October 16 to October 23, 2022, with the event offering $5,000 in prize money.
A spokesperson said, “Coral Beach & Tennis Club is pleased to announce that it has been renamed as the host of a prestigious United States Tennis Association [USTA] sanctioned championship tournament.
“The 2022 Bermuda Breeze Tennis Championships is a USTA Adult National Category II Tennis Championships tournament – designed for players over the age of 40 playing in five age groups – and will be held at the Club from October 16 to October 23, 2022.
“Players registered with the USTA are eligible to compete in the following age groups: 40s, 50s, 55s, 60s, 65s and 70s in men’s and women’s singles and doubles and mixed doubles.
“There is $5,000 prize money allocated for the tournament this year. Local residents are encouraged to sign up and compete. Registration deadline is October 14.
