Sunday June 28th: “Good News” Spotlight
News that Yushae DeSilva-Andrade won a gold medal in Alabama, the Bermuda cricket team won all three of their matches in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Sub-Regional Qualifiers and Harbour Swim Club swimmers won multiple medals were among the positive news stories from the past week.
In more good news, Liam Evans finished third in the men’s division at the Apex Chicago event, Camerin Pickering set a Bermuda national record at the Pan American Archery Championships, and Andrew Armstrong scored for FC Motown II in the team’s 3-1 victory over the Hudson Valley Hammers and Bermuda finished top of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Sub-Regional Qualifier standings.
