Oct 30: SPCA To Host ‘Paws To The Park’
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals [SPCA] will be hosting a ‘Paws to the Park’ fundraiser on Sunday, October 30 at Botanical Gardens.
A spokesperson said, “The event consists of a fun Halloween-themed walk through the Botanical Gardens where kids can collect treats along the way. There will be some great vendors, a haunted house, free giveaways, and a free t-shirt and goodie bag with each registration.
“We are also appealing to local clubs, work places, etc, who might want to be involved with the trick or treating out on the course.
“There will also be a photobooth and prizes for best dressed dog and best dressed human.
“This really is a vital fundraiser for us to raise as much money as possible for our operating costs to enable us to continue being a valuable resource the community and the animals who need us the most. It is also designed to be a community event, bringing people and their dogs together to have some fun.
