‘Alleged Unruly Passenger’ On Arriving Flight
An “alleged unruly passenger” was escorted off an arriving flight from Charlotte, with the 52-year-old visiting American woman “temporarily taken into police custody, but later released following consultation with the flight crew and after being warned about her conduct.”
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] can confirm that around 2:50pm Wednesday, 4th January 2023 two BPS officers at L. F. Wade International Airport responded to an alleged unruly passenger on-board an arriving American Airlines flight from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
“After the plane landed, the unarmed officers escorted the individual, understood to be a 52-year-old visiting American woman, off the aircraft without incident. She was temporarily taken into police custody, but later released following consultation with the flight crew and after being warned about her conduct by the attending officers.”
Sounds like privilege to me. Unruly passenger, escorted by plain clothed officers, temporary custody consultations with flight crew, release.
A convoluted mess
