Video: GB News On Prince Harry’s Memoir Claim
The ‘Dan Wootten Tonight’ show on Britain’s GB News network was not very flattering about Prince Harry’s statement that Camilla, now Queen Consort of the United Kingdom, suggested that Prince Harry “take the job of governor-general of Bermuda.”
The broadcast on GB News, which is often described as ‘right leaning’, covered some of the statements in Prince Harry’s book, and as far as it pertains to Bermuda, the host said, “Camilla had suggested that he should become the governor-general of Bermuda. Guess what? A simple Google search would tell you that Bermuda does not even have a governor-general.”
Governor Generals are appointed in independent nations which are part of the Commonwealth countries such as Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Jamaica, while Bermuda, as an Overseas Territory, has a Governor who is appointed by the United Kingdom.
In Prince Harry’s book ‘Spare’ he reportedly criticised Mr Wootten, calling him a “a sad little man” who “was sure to get everything wrong.” and on a separate and unrelated note, Mr Wootten once kicked British MP Chris Bryant — who has spoken out against Bermuda’s marriage laws — off his radio show after Mr Bryant called him a “complete and utter nutcase” over comments he made about herd immunity.
