Nahki Wells Helps Bristol City Beat Watford
Nahki Wells made his second appearance since recovering from an ankle injury after helping Bristol City to a 4-1 win over Watford in the Sky Bet Championship yesterday [December 26].
The forward, who returned to action in City’s victory over Hull last Friday, came on in the 77th minute for Tommy Conway.
Cameron Pring and Wesley Hoedt gave the visiting side a 2-0 lead at half-time before Giorgi Chakvetadze pulled a goal back for Warford.
Mark Sykes and Andreas Weimann added scored-half goals for City, who climbed to eighth in the table.
Wells, who has scored three goals in all competitions this season, will be hoping to be involved when his side face Birmingham City away on Friday [December 29].
