Thomas Cechini Wins 200 Freestyle In Swim Meet
Thomas Cechini and his Mercersburg men’s swimming and diving teammates recently competed against a team from Peddie, with Cechini making a strong showing to help his team claim the win.
On the male side, the Mercersburg cruised to a 114 – 64 win over Peddie. Cechini won the boys 200 yard freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:44.92.
Clocking a time of 53.50, Cechini finished second competing in the 100 yard butterfly and he also swam the anchor leg for the Mercersburg Academy 200 yard freestyle relay A team that won clocking a time of 1:28.07.
