RBR Enlistment Night Postponed Due To Weather
The Royal Bermuda Regiment Enlistment Night – which was originally scheduled for this evening [Feb 1] — has been postponed until Monday.
A spokesperson said, “Severe weather this afternoon has necessitated the postponement of the Royal Bermuda Regiment Enlistment Night scheduled for this evening.
“The event will now be held on Monday, February 5th at 6:30 pm. This will mark the last opportunity for people to sign up for a spot on the Regiment’s upcoming recruit camp, which begins on February 11.
“All legal residents aged 18 to 52 are invited to join the RBR – a modern, forward-thinking organisation where emphasis is placed on developing troops in a range of roles, extending beyond traditional military training.
“Anyone interested should visit RBR.bm and complete the form by clicking on the “Join Us” tab, where more information is provided.
“The enlistment night involves a medical assessment, fitness test and interview. Successful candidates will be asked to complete paperwork and take an oath of allegiance.
“The next RBR recruit training package will run from February 11 to 23.”
