Govt To Host 2024 Day Camp Expo On March 3
The Department of Sport and Recreation announced the 2024 Day Camp Expo is set to take place on Sunday, March 3 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Bermuda College.
Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Owen Darrell said, “As summer approaches, the Day Camp Expo is the perfect opportunity to discover engaging and enriching day camps. With the theme, ‘get ready, get set, summer is on its way!’ the Expo invites families to explore a diverse range of local camp vendors. Whether your child is passionate about art, dance, sports, STEM, or more, this event will connect you with the perfect camp that aligns with their interests and talents.”
The Government spokesperson said, “The 2024 Day Camp Expo promises an afternoon of discovery and interaction, offering families the chance to meet with camp representatives, learn about unique camp offerings, and participate in on-site activities. The event is not only informative but also entertaining, with door prizes available for attendees throughout the Expo.”
Minister Darrell said, “We believe every child deserves a summer filled with adventure, learning, and fun. The Day Camp Expo is a bridge between families and day camps available in our community. We encourage everyone to join us for this free event that is open to all.”
