Harvey & Moore Compete At Tyr Pro Swim Meet
Madelyn Moore and Jack Harvey competed in the 2024 Tyr Pro Swim Series in Westmont, Illinois, with Harvey breaking two records.
Competing in the men’s 100m backstroke preliminaries, Harvey finished ninth overall to advance to the B final with a time of 56.20, breaking his own boys’ 100m open backstroke record of 57.23 set during the 2022 Piranhas Senior Invitational.
Harvey won the men’s 100m backstroke B final by touching the wall in a time of 56.04, breaking his record set earlier in the competition; his new record time sits just .41 outside of the Olympic qualifying time.
Moore advanced to the C final after finishing the women’s 50m freestyle preliminaries with a time of 26.24. She then finished fifth in the women’s 50m freestyle C final by clocking a time of 26.12.
