Trott And Ruiz Take Run For Arts 5K Titles
Sean Trott retained his title in the Bermuda National Gallery Run for the Arts 5K today [April 21].
Trott, who won the inaugural event last year in 16min 53sec, improved his time, finishing in 16:35.
Christopher Hands came runner-up in the race, which started and finished at Parsons Road Community Playground, crossing the finish line in 18:04.
Tim Price rounded out the podium in 18:59.
Teresa Ruiz was the fastest female, coming eighth overall in 20:39, with Sarah Ryan second in 20:57 and Melissa Logie third in 21:43.
Junior Watts won the competitive walk in 35:39, with Nancy Andrews-Sousa second in 36:12 and Terrence Taylor third in 38:43. We will update with the full results as able.
