Jessica Lewis Ready To Race In Paris
Jessica Lewis will look to continue her fine form when she races at the WPA Paris Grand Prix as she builds towards the Paralympic Games in the French capital this summer.
Lewis competes in the T53 100 metres tomorrow [June 13] at 7.05 am and the T53 400 on Friday at 12.06 pm.
The Bermudian set a personal best of 16.12sec to break the America’s record in the T53 100 at the recent World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Nottwil, Switzerland.
The previous record of 16.23, set by Leann Shannon of the United States, had stood since 1997.
The Paralympics will be held in Paris from August 28 to September 8.
