Bacchanal Run & Cup Match Traffic Notices
The Ministry of Public Works announced parking restrictions and road closures for the Bacchanal Run on August 3-4 and the Annual Cricket Cup Match in Somerset on August 1-2.
A Governemnt spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the public of important road traffic notices concerning two upcoming events: the Bacchanal Run and the Annual Cricket Cup Match.
Bacchanal Run Saturday, 3 August 2024 to Sunday, 4 August 2024
“Motorists are advised that the Bacchanal Run event will occur on Saturday, 3 August 2024. This event will necessitate parking restrictions and multiple road closures starting on Saturday, 3 August 2024 and ending on Sunday, 4 August 2024.
“The main event will occur from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., followed by an afterparty at Dutton Avenue and Bernard Park from 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Annual Cricket Cup Match in Somerset Thursday, 1 August 2024 and Friday, 2 August 2024
“The Ministry also wishes to inform the public of parking restrictions and traffic flow changes for the Annual Cricket Cup Match Event at Somerset Cricket Club.
“These changes will be effective on Thursday, 1 August 2024 and Friday, 2 August 2024, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
“Please refer to the attached official notices for more detailed information on race routes and the specific traffic controls that will be in place.”
