Court Street Music & Food Festival On Sunday
The Court Street Market will be hosting a Food and Music Festival this Sunday, September 1st.
Gary Augustus said, “The market will be held from 1pm to 8 pm with live music starting at 3pm. We have secured Willard Burch, The Unit, Vance Goater & SOS, Hindsight, Live Wire, Samantha Smith, and since its the day before Labour Day, we invited Mr. Chris Furbert to say a few words.
“Food vendors include Jamaican Grill who will be bringing their Jerk Pit, Soulfood will be cooking Lobsters on the Grill, Lobsters & Waffles, Taste the Rainbow selling their Jamaican cuisine, Ashley’s Lemonade making their famous lemonade, Caribbean Food Market will be open with their Caribbean Products, and other vendors selling funnel cake, snow balls, kabobs, donuts and more.
“Court Street will be very vibrant this Sunday,” he added. “So bring a chair and come and have dinner and a show on Court Street this Sunday. Free admission to all. I would like to add a special thank you to our sponsors BEDC, Corporation of Hamilton, STE, Cody Workman who is a FAA Certified Drone Pilot and the people involved in the planning including Mickey Robinson and the Court Street Merchants.
