PLP Thanks Sandys North Community

September 30, 2024

The PLP said they “would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the community of Constituency 36, Sandys North, for their support and participation during our community concert held last Saturday at the Warren Simmons Field.”

A spokesperson said, “Your enthusiasm and dedication to making our community stronger is a testament to the shared values and vision we hold for a brighter future in Bermuda.

“We are especially proud to have Rev. Dr. Emilygail Dill as our candidate for Sandys North. Her unwavering commitment to service, leadership, and advocacy for the people of this constituency is unparalleled. Your continued support will ensure that Constituency 36 has a strong, dedicated voice in Parliament, fighting for the issues that matter most to you and ensuring that the best interests of our seniors, our youth and our disadvantaged are protected.

“As we move forward to Election Day on October 4th, we encourage everyone in Constituency 36 to make your voice heard. Voting will take place at The Allen Temple AME Church Hall, and we urge you to turn out in full support for Rev. Dr. Dill.

“Together, we can continue steadily building toward a Bermuda where every Bermudian can thrive. Once again, thank you for your steadfast support.”

You mean voting will take place at YOUR place of residence Ms. Dill? This is so blatantly nothing more than the PLP trying to buy votes. Give us a small break. The desperation is evident.

If I were ever to stand for election, I would want my home to be the polling station. I could control the environment, I could have a decent cup of tea when I wanted one, and I could be welcoming to those I wanted there and cold to those I did not want there.

If I was a Troll for the opposition I would beg them to change the name back to UBP. Maybe if this happened all the black voters and leaders might come back. Sir John Swan said it best “what else do you have to lose”.
