Results: 2024 Open Water Championships
The 2024 Open Water Bermuda National Championships were held this weekend, crowning champions in three different distances for both men and women.
In the 5k event, Bradley Coetzer claimed the men’s title with a time of 1:15:47. Nina Coetzer secured the women’s championship, finishing second overall with a time of 1:15:59.
The 1500m race saw Dominic Wright emerge as the men’s champion, clocking in at 22:29. Isla Cozze captured the women’s title, finishing 7th overall with a time of 25:31.
Joseph Lau dominated the 400m distance, winning the men’s championship with a time of 6:45. Isla Smith earned the women’s title, finishing 6th overall with a time of 9:06.
