Botanical Gardens StoryWalk This Saturday
The Bermuda Youth Library, Department of Parks, and Dr. David Chapman will host the grand opening of the new Botanical Gardens StoryWalk this Saturday [Nov 23].
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Youth Library, the Department of Parks, and author Dr. David Chapman of the book “Daddy and I… Visit the Farm, will celebrate the grand opening of the new Botanical Gardens StoryWalk on this Saturday, November 23 with a ceremony at 10:15am [near the large Banyan tree – South Shore entrance] and a Story Time starting at 10:30 am finishing on the Celebration Lawn. There will also be presentation on how to pot seedlings, seeds, or slips. We encourage families to come out to learn from and enjoy this event.
“The Botanical Gardens StoryWalk offers a free, fun, and accessible opportunity for families to build and encourage an interest in reading, while promoting physical activity at the same time. Storywalk at the Botanical Gardens is sponsored by the kind donation from Deloitte.”
