Video: Gymnast Aria Divine Wins Medals In UK

Bermudian Aria Divine claimed three medals representing the South at the recent National Finals at the Independent Gymnastics National Training Centre in Chorley, Lancashire.

Divine, who competes for Miss Poppy’s Gymnastics Club in Oxfordshire, England, finished first on the floor and second on the beam and all-around.

The 12-year-old, who qualified for the Nationals as the South Regional champion in her category, was the all-around champion in her IGA Level 9 and Level 8 national competitions in 2021 and 2022.

Aria, who began her gymnastics career at Bermuda Gymnastics Association [BGA] at the age of four, is the sister of top Bermudian motorcycle racer Aeziah Divine, who competes in the UK and Spain.

Miss Poppy’s secured four bronze, 21 silver and 15 gold medals at the Nationals.

A spokesperson from the club told the Oxford Mail: “No post can put into words how proud we are of all our gymnasts and coaches from this weekend’s IGA National Finals.”
