Human Rights Tribunal – Appointment of Panel
The Human Rights Act, 1981 [Act] establishes an independent Selection and Appointment Committee, which has a statutory function to appoint members to serve on a panel as members of the Human Rights Tribunal. Sections 13A and 13B of the Act set out the provisions for the recruitment, selection and appointment of the Human Rights Tribunal panel members. Notice is hereby given that the appointment notice published in the Official Gazette on December 23, 2024 [the “Prior Notice”] is hereby revoked and shall be of no further force or effect. This appointment notice is issued in substitution for and to the exclusion of the Prior Notice. The Selection and Appointment Committee is pleased to make the following appointments with effect from December 23, 2024.
