Erica Hawley Ready For Triathlon Cup Miami
Bermudian triathlete Erica Hawley is set to compete in the Americas Triathlon Cup Miami at the iconic Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida on Friday [March 28].
The draft legal sprint-distance race will begin with a one-lap, 750-metres swim in the waters of a spring-fed seven-acre lake located within the venue.
The triathletes will transition to the bike course, a five-lap, 20-kilometres ride around the sweeping road course of the speedway.
The final leg will be a two-lap, five-kilometres run, taking place on the speedway’s iconic Pit Road.
Hawley secured a ninth-place finish at the World Triathlon Cup Napier in New Zealand last month.
