Tennis: U14 Team Advance In WJT Qualifiers
Bermuda’s under-14 boys’ tennis team had a bye as the group stage of the WJT North Central America & Caribbean pre-qualifying tournament in the Dominican Republic concluded.
The results of other matches in group A determined Bermuda’s final standing. With Trinidad and Tobago defeating The Bahamas 3-0, Bermuda finished second in the group with one point. While they won two games, they also lost four.
Bermuda has now advanced to play for places 1-8 in the tournament. This is a significant achievement, as the winner of the competition earns the opportunity to progress to the next phase of the prestigious World Junior Tennis Championships.
