Bermuda Half Marathon Road Closure Advisory
The Bermuda Half Marathon Committee is advising the public of road closures beginning at 7.30am tomorrow [May 23], urging airport travelers to arrive by 7.45am due to limited access along the racecourse.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service will begin road closures at 7:30 am and all roads on the race course will be closed at 7:45 am. Travelers going to the LF Wade International Airport for flights departing between 9:00 am and 10:30 am should arrive at the airport by the 7:45 am cutoff time. The roundabout at Wilkinson Avenue will reopen at the discretion of the Bermuda Police Service to allow access to the Airport. This could possibly occur between 9:30 am and 9:45 am if not before.”
