The Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League season continued at Bernard’s Park, featuring matches in both the Women’s and Co-ed Divisions.

Women’s Division Results

PHC Defeats Phoenix Flames 18-14

PHC secured an 18-14 victory over the Phoenix Flames. Tyra Simmons led PHC with 13 goals. Debre Evans, named best attacker, scored 3 goals, and Terita Bean contributed 2. Sarafina Woolridge-Burns was recognized as best defender and MVP for PHC. For the Phoenix Flames, Eshe Grant, named best attacker, scored 9 goals, and Chelzea Somner added 5. Imani Smith was their best defender, and Sanaa Grant their MVP.

K-Net Assets Defeat St. George’s Cricket Club 23-12

K-Net Assets defeated the St. George’s Cricket Club 23-12. Denise Truter scored 17 goals for K-Net Assets. best attacker Candace Paynter added 6 goals. Allison King was named their best defender, and Kaetlyn Thompson their MVP. St. George’s saw Nisaiah Berkeley score 8 goals, with best defender Stacy-Ann Brown adding 4. Riley Jones was their best attacker, and Coriah Simmons the MVP.

Co-ed Division Results

Storm Chasers Defeat BHB 25-19

The Storm Chasers secured a 25-19 win against BHB. MVP Antione Williams led the Storm Chasers with 22 goals. Nabiilah Nasir scored 2 goals, and Debre Evans contributed 1. Kaamilah Nasir was named best attacker, and Amaury Majors best defender. For BHB, Sheldon Bahadosingh scored 10 goals, and Charlene Bogle added 9. Stacy-Ann Brown was their best attacker, while Nigel Burgess was named best defender and MVP.

Goal Diggers Dominate Bean Counting Netballerz 31-5

The Goal Diggers defeated the Bean Counting Netballerz 31-5. Best attacker Coriah Simmons scored 17 goals for the Goal Diggers. Paul Simons and Kiante Lightbourne each added 8 goals. Asante Chapman was their best defender, and Jaman Lottimore the MVP. For the Bean Counting Netballerz, best attacker Denise Truter scored 4 goals, and Khianda Pearman-Watson scored 1. Marnus Slabbert was their best defender, and Nick Borzenko the MVP.
