Island Games Football Fixtures Released
The Bermuda men’s under-23 and women’s national teams have discovered their group stage opponents at the International Island Games in Orkney this summer.
The men’s under-23 team face the Western Isles in their opening game on July 13 before playing Ynys Môn two days later.
Meanwhile, the women’s team will face Jersey on July 13 and Isle of Wight the following day.
They will then take on Shetland on July 15.
The semi-finals and positional play-offs will take place on July 17, with the medal matches on July 18 for the men’s and women’s competitions.
The Bermuda Football Association will announce its women’s national team and men’s under-23 squad shortly.
Orkney will welcome around 2,000 athletes from 24 island groups to compete across 12 sports.
It will be the first time in the Games’ 40-year history that Orkney has hosted the biennial event.
