Jenn Marsh Releases New Song ‘Island Fever’
American singer and dancer Jenn Marsh has released ‘Island Fever’, featuring local artists and dancers.
A spokesperson said, “United States singer/songwriter and dancer Jenn Marsh has just released “Island Fever”, an infectious afro dance beat that pays tribute to the vibrant energy, rhythm, and beauty of Bermuda and its people.
“Featuring local Bermudian artists and dancers, “Island Fever” blends tropical rhythms with Afrobeat and global R&B – delivering a vibrant summer anthem that celebrates the beauty and culture here in Bermuda.”
“While visiting for the first time last year and volunteering at a kids camp, I became deeply inspired and touched by the people, the energy and vibes, and beauty of your culture and I wanted to a create a song and music video that encompassed all of it,” said Jenn Marsh.
The spokesperson said, “With a solid idea and melody, but not knowing too many people yet on the island, Jenn needed help to take it to the next level. Quickly a whole team of now new friends came together with the help of Dat bie Dez to make this project come to life. Recorded and produced with Derek G and Shawn Herman, featuring talented Cush Evans on vocals, the track showcases a fusion of styles that’s authentic and highlights the unique beauty and sounds of life here in Bermuda and it’s warm energy. The accompanying music video shot here in Bermuda features stunning island scenery, and local dancers and dance groups including Donquili West African dance group.”
“I find myself saying this all the time now being back on the island – this time on a work permit singing – but you truly have something special here. The energy and warmth is like no other place I have been and the art that radiates from your people is truly inspiring and I hope you feel that from this track,” said Marsh.
