Kiwon Waldron Competes In Governors Cup
Bermudian harness pony racing driver Kiwon Waldron delivered a strong performance at the Governors Cup Finals at the Indiana State Fair, highlighted by a second-place result decided in a photo finish.
Competing in the evening’s sixth race, Waldron piloted Derek’s Rocket in the Pace class to a near victory, with a photo required to confirm the second-place finish. The pair recorded an impressive time of 1:52.4.
Waldron also competed in three other events throughout the night. He finished eighth with Ambehaving in a Pace class race in 1:57.0 and sixth with Tyrastyrone in 1:55.4.
In his final race, Waldron drove Fake Fifty in the Trot class to a seventh-place finish with a time of 2:04.2.
