Archers Close Outdoor Season At Worlds
Archers Camerin Pickering and Jaydon Roberts closed the outdoor season at the Hyundai World Archery Championships in Gwangju, South Korea.
In the qualification round of the men’s recurve competition, Pickering secured 139th place, while Roberts finished 145th out of a field of 153 archers.
Trina Roberts, the secretary general at the National Archery Association of Bermuda, said the rainy conditions tested the skills and equipment of the local archers.
“Overall, this has been an experience of physical and mental toughness,” she said.
“While we do not move on to the eliminations, our archers have the opportunity to train in these conditions over the next few days and test out the equipment from the vendors in South Korea.
“The coaching team is proud of their performance and what archery has accomplished this year in the outdoor season.”
