Rick Wright’s Greenville Defeated At Home
Rick Wright’s Greenville Triumph were defeated 3-2 at home to Portland Hearts of Pine in the USL League One yesterday [September 3].
Goals from Ropapa Mensah and Rodrigo Robles were not enough for Greenville, as Hearts scored in stoppage time to complete a dramatic comeback victory.
Hearts had Michel Poon-Angeron sent off in the 85th minute.
A former Saltus Grammar School student, Wright made appearances for the Bermuda and United States national football teams.
He was appointed head coach of Greenville at the start of last season, having served as assistant coach for several years.
