Coral Beach To Host Bermuda Breeze Event
The Bermuda Breeze Tennis Championships return to the Coral Beach & Tennis Club from December 8 to 14, marking their tenth year of play in Bermuda.
A spokesperson said, “The event has grown into a fixture of the island’s tennis calendar, attracting overseas competitors and giving local players the chance to earn international ranking points at home.
“Recognized as both a USTA Level 2 and ITF 700 Masters tournament, the Bermuda Breeze brings together men and women of all ages for a week of singles, doubles, and mixed doubles matches on the Club’s Har-Tru clay courts. This year’s schedule features 36 events across multiple age brackets and formats.”
Tournament founder Patrick Singleton credited Coral Beach & Tennis Club and the Bermuda Tourism Authority for their long-standing support. “Coral Beach and the BTA’s engagement have been key in helping bring hundreds of players to Bermuda each year during our shoulder season. The tournament simply wouldn’t be what it is without that partnership,” he said.
The Club’s Tournament Committee added, “We’re excited to welcome back players from around the world and encourage local players to sign up this month. It’s a great opportunity to compete against experienced international players, earn ranking points, and enjoy world-class tennis right here at home.”
The spokesperson said, “Alongside the matches, the week will feature social gatherings and plenty of chances for players and spectators to enjoy the Club’s beautiful seaside setting. Spectators are welcome throughout the tournament.
“Registration closes November 28. Players can register online here. For more information, contact Monika Rowat at monikadrabkova@coralbeach.bm.”
