Photos & Video: Truck Removed After Crash
A trash truck was removed today [Nov 4] after crashing over an embankment in Paget yesterday.
In a statement yesterday, the police said, “Around 1:35 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, police and other first responders were dispatched to a single road traffic collision involving a Department of Works and Engineering trash truck, just east of the junction with Middle Road, Paget.
“Details are limited, but initial information suggests the truck with three people inside, was travelling in an easterly direction on South Shore Road, when it appears the driver lost control of the vehicle and went over an embankment onto a grassy area below.
“The driver and two other occupants, all male, had to be extricated with the assistance of Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service personnel.
“After being attended to at the scene by EMTs, the three men were transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, for treatment of injuries which were described as not serious. The vehicle was extensively damaged.”
