Imani Phillips Gains Experience In Florida
Pickleball player Imani Phillips faced a challenging opening draw in the Women’s Singles Pro Division at the GEICO APP Tour Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Phillips was drawn against Croatian Domenika Turkovic in the Round of 32.
Turkovic, who is ranked highly on the RTA Pickleball Tour, defeated Phillips 15-8 and 15-9.
Phillips had previously faced Turkovic in a group stage match at the English Open.
