Sunday Dec 21st: “Good News” Spotlight
News that Alana Wilson earned the Public Service Excellence Award [PSEA] for November, the PartnerRe Women’s 5K Run & Walk raised a total of $40,000 to support the Coalition for the Protection of Children, and the Kitson Group of Companies officially marked 75 years of business in Bermuda were among the positive news stories from the past week.
Additional good news included the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre’s MOvember Bermuda campaign raising $34,410 to support men’s health, Aliyyah Ahad of Bermuda’s Brussels Office being named a 2025 Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leader, a staff gift drive at the Bermuda Monetary Authority collecting more than 1,000 gifts for four nursing homes, and Open Mat Bermuda’s team claiming three medals at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation No-Gi World Championship in Las Vegas.
