Local Football Schedule This Weekend
A full slate of football action is set for the weekend as Bermuda’s Premier and First Divisions return with fixtures spread across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend gets underway on Friday, January 16, with a lone Premier Division encounter. Devonshire Cougars are scheduled to face Devonshire Colts at 8:00 pm at the Devonshire Recreation Club.
Action continues on Saturday, January 17, with matches in both divisions. In the First Division, Robin Hood will meet St David’s in a 7:00 pm kickoff at PHC Field. The Premier Division follows later in the evening, with PHC hosting Dandy Town at 9:00 pm, also at PHC Field.
Sunday’s schedule on January 18 features the busiest day of the weekend, beginning with First Division fixtures at midday. St George’s Rangers take on Wolves at 12:30 pm at Southampton Oval, while Somerset Trojans face SBRC at the same time at SCC. Vasco will have a bye for the round.
Premier Division matches then conclude the weekend with three simultaneous 3:00 pm kickoffs. Paget will square off against St George’s at White Hill Field, X-Roads host North Village Community Club Rams at Lords, St David’s, and YMSC face Boulevard at Police Field.
