Bobb & UMBC Win America East Championship

Bermudian athlete Madisyn Bobb and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County track and field team won the America East Indoor Championship at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center. The victory marks the first indoor championship title for the UMBC program.

UMBC placed first overall with 163 points. UAlbany finished second with 143 points, and Bryant placed third with 116.83 points. The UMBC team secured the overall win following a first-place and meet-record finish in the 4x400m relay.

In individual events, Bobb competed in the 200m dash. She placed fifth in the preliminaries with a time of 24.61 seconds. In the final, Bobb recorded a time of 24.49 seconds to finish in fourth place.
