Erica Hawley Places Fifth In Triathlon Cup
Erica Hawley achieved an impressive fifth-place finish in the elite women’s race at the Americas Triathlon Cup Gulfport at Jones Park yesterday [March 27].
The Olympian, who earned $500 for finishing in the top five, completed the sprint-distance course in 1h 00min 36sec.
Her splits were 9:54, 29:41 and 19:16.
In the elite men’s race, Nicholas Pilgrim came 27th in 55:52, with splits of 9:11, 26:27 and 18:36.
