Smith Finishes 10th In Triathlon Season Opener
The 2026 triathlon season began with a top-10 finish for Tyler Smith, who overcame equipment malfunctions to place 10th at the Africa Triathlon Premium Cup in Swakopmund, Namibia.
Smith finished the course with an overall time of 57:57. His individual splits included an 11:06 swim, a 30:58 bike segment, and a 15:08 closing run.
