One Man Injured In Shooting In Pembroke

One man has been injured in a shooting in Pembroke, the police have confirmed.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 10:35 p.m on Thursday April 2, 2026, police received multiple reports of gunshots heard in the area of St. Monica’s Road, Pembroke.

“Officers attended the scene and ascertained that one male had sustained gunshot wounds and was transported via private vehicle, to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

“The extent of his injuries remains unknown at this time.

“An investigation into this incident is now underway and anyone with information is asked to contact the main police number, 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crimestoppers number 800-8477.

“Alternatively, we urge you to share the information with a police officer, you know or via the community reporting portal at portal.police.bm
