TSA Sending Investigators To Massachusetts

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada [TSB] is deploying investigators to Massachusetts to assist with the investigation into the Latitude Air Ambulance crash, that claimed the lives of six people including two Bermudians.

A statement issued said, “The Transportation Safety Board of Canada [TSB] is deploying a team of investigators to Massachusetts as part of its investigation [A26F0321] into the fatal accident involving a Latitude Air Ambulance Gulfstream G100 aircraft, which occurred on October 3, 2026, off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts.

“Pursuant to international agreements, the TSB is leading the investigation with assistance from the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board [NTSB]. The team will support the ongoing search and recovery efforts and gather information.”

The two Bermudians aboard were identified by police as 66-year-old Marilyn Lavonne Bean and her 41-year-old son, Sergio Wayne Lottimore and the four Canadian crew members were Captain Philip Childerhose, First Officer Thomas Farquhar, Flight Nurse Sarah Paton and Respiratory Therapist Jolene Weir.
