Zeta Jones “Punched” By London Paparazzo
Her day began at Buckingham Palance with Prince Charles bestowing a royal honour on her– but it ended with former Bermuda resident Catherine Zeta Jones allegedly being punched in the face by an aggressive paparazzo.
On Thursday [Feb 24], the Welsh actress and husband Michael Douglas — who lived on Longford Hill in Warwick until 2009 — became embroiled in the scuffle as they headed back to their London hotel after a dinner to celebrate her appointment as a Commander of the British Empire.
Trouble began when the stars exited their car at their hotel and had to struggle their way through a throng of waiting photographers.
In video footage of the brawl, Ms Zeta Jones can be heard shouting, “How dare you punch me!” at an overzealous paparazzo as they enter the hotel lobby.
“I want a police officer right now. He punched me! The guy coming in here, he punched me!”
Mr. Douglas, still recovering from cancer treatment, rushed to his wife’s defence by grabbing the photographer and pushing him as hotel security rushed to separate the two men.
A spokesman for Mr. Douglas — the son Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas and Bermudian actress Diana Dill – said of the video footage of the incident: “You saw it for yourself. Otherwise, the trip and the ceremony were fabulous and such a joy for everyone.”

These type of photographers have no sense of personal space. Well done Mike for protecting your woman!!! Throw the book at that photographer…it sounds like he needs to cool out in jail for common assault^^
Ah No. All she said was he punched me, She did not identfy who punched her. So The Great Micheal goes grabbing someone . Maybe the camera guy that was grabbed or pushed should sue him.
Just look at her face. WOW, that says it all. Perhaps she will sue for whatever, or maybe this pic taken where she does not look at best.
