Five Videos: Miss Bermuda Contestants

April 4, 2011

After a hiatus of over a decade, the Miss Bermuda Pageant is back in full swing, with 16  ladies aged 18-25 taking part in this year’s competition. There were originally 17 contestants, however one young lady withdrew from the contest, which will take place on June 12th at the Fairmont Southampton. Tickets, which range from $65 to $125, are available here on Bdatix.bm.

We already spoke with nine of the contestants, who briefly introduce themselves on video and explained why they entered the pageant. You can view the first nine here, and videos of Southampton’s Kylah Burch, Hamilton Parish East’s Renee Tucker, Smith East’s Channing Dill, St. Georges West’s Cheyenne Darrell and Hamilton Parish South’s Rachel Sawden below.

  7. NUNYA says:

Nice to see some positive, well spoken young women speaking without using Um um in a sentance. I enjoyed listening to them speak and I am seeing some of the same qualities, charm, unrehearsed enthusiasm and zest for life and country only seen a few times since Gina Swainson won the big title. Its going to be tough competing against young women that have grown up in the pageant world but hopefully the judges will see though the rehearsed and predictable. Who knows…we have done it once before …we CAN do it again. Good luck ladies…keep your head held high…ignore the idiots. Just remember some people just love to see others fail and will do what they can tpoo criticize and bring them down. It makes them feel better about themselves.

  8. itwasn'tme says:

sorry but no Gina Swainson’s this time around.

  9. Insider says:

At this point, my vote would have to go to Channing Dill.
