PGA Gate Schedule & Parking Info

The 29th PGA Grand Slam of Golf, Oct. 17-19, at the Port Royal Golf Course will have gate hours different than years past. On Monday gates will open to spectators from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, on Tuesday gates will open to spectators from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m, and on Wednesday gates will open to spectators from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

A park and ride shuttle program to and from White Hill Field will be in operation beginning 15 minutes before gates open each day. Cars must park at White Hill Field and motorbikes are permitted to park there as well. Motorbikes can also park at the Death Valley Field.

On Monday, the Champions Clinic will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Port Royal’s famous 16th Hole. Players will tee off for the Pro-Am beginning at 12:00 p.m. On Tuesday, the Grand Slam Championship is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m and on Wednesday, the final round is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.

Established in 1979, the PGA Grand Slam of Golf has grown from an 18-hole, single-day charity event to a 36-hole annual showdown that matches professional golf’s best against each other for a $1.35 million purse. TNT will televise the PGA Grand Slam of Golf to 100 million U.S. households, and it is seen in more than 100 countries.

PGA Grand Slam of Golf champions include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jim Furyk, Ernie Els, Tom Lehman, Ben Crenshaw, Greg Norman, Nick Price, Ian Woosnam and Angel Cabrera.
