Photos: Fire Safety Awareness Week
Fire Safety Awareness Week officially kicked off today [Oct.31], with the official opening ceremony held at the Hamilton Fire Station this morning.
Every year, the Ministry of National Security, in conjunction with the National Fire Protection Association, sister Fire Departments across the United States and the United Kingdom participate in an initiative to educate the community on fire safety.
This year Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service is recognizing it’s Fire Safety Awareness Week from Monday, October 31 to Friday, November 4, 2011. The theme this year is “Protect Your Family From Fire”.
