Powerboat Overturns Off Sandys
Two men escaped without injury earlier today [Jan. 2] after their powerboat overturned off the West End.
A police spokesperson said officers responded to reports of an overturned powerboat in the waters off East Shore Road in Sandys Parish at around 2 pm.
“On arrival officers found the boat ashore and the two men onboard at the time uninjured, having also made it to shore safely,” said a police spokesman.
