Wilson Recognized As ‘Fairmont Master’

The Fairmont Southampton’s Sales Manager Kim Wilson has been recognized by as a Fairmont Master, one of the brands top group sales performers in 2011.

The Fairmont Southampton’s Regional Director of Sales and Marketing Shelley Meszoly praised Ms. Wilson saying, “Kim’s efforts to bring more guests to The Fairmont Southampton have been tireless and been rewarded by exceeding our quota requirements for Social, Military, Education, Religious or Fraternal group Sales by 132%.

“Being recognized as a Fairmont Master is a fantastic accomplishment and on behalf of our Sales Team and all of our colleagues here at the resort we congratulate her.”

Kim Wilson first joined The Fairmont Southampton in July 2010 as a Sales Coordinator before being promoted to Sales Manager in December of that year. Ms. Wilson graduated from the University of California with honors earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing.

The Fairmont Masters sales designation was first introduced by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in 2005 as a method for recognizing Fairmont Sales, “Overachievers,” those who exceed group sales quota by at least 125% As a Fairmont Master, Ms, Wilson will receive 5 extra vacation days and a trip to Monte Carlo this April with Fairmont Masters from across the globe.
